The Twilight Sad have announced that their new single will feature a cover of the same track by The Cure’s Robert Smith.
The Scottish band will release ‘It Never Was The Same’ on 7-inch vinyl on June 15, with Smith providing the B-side. You can listen to the original track and a preview of Smith’s cover below.
‘It Never Was The Same’ is lifted from the group’s fourth album, ‘Nobody Wants to Be Here and Nobody Wants to Leave’, released in October 2014.
